Boltus Rentals Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Boltus Rentals! Please review the following terms and conditions carefully. By completing the formular and making a payment for your reservation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. Reservation and Guest Information
- Guest Information: You will be required to provide the first and last names and ages of all guests staying in your group.
- Occupancy: The maximum number of guests allowed on the property is four (4) or six (6), depending on the specific property. Exceeding this number may result in eviction with no refund and extra cleaning charges.
- Identification: A government-issued photo ID and a signed rental agreement are required upon booking. The name on the credit card, photo ID, and rental agreement must match.
Policies
- Age Requirement: The guest must be a minimum age of 21 to rent the property and must be an occupant of the unit during the entire reserved period.
- Parking: Do not exceed the maximum parking limit of one (1) or two (2) vehicles, depending on the property.
- Prohibited Activities: Parties, noise that can be heard beyond the property, illegal activities, smoking/vaping, marijuana or other illegal drugs, fireworks, and bonfires are strictly prohibited.
- Pets: Pets are not allowed. A minimum $200 cleaning fee will be charged if a pet is discovered, and you may be evicted with no refund.
- Check-in/Check-out: Check-in time is 4:00 pm and check-out time is 10:00 am. Early check-ins or late checkouts will incur an upcharge fee of $50.00 per transaction.
- Cleaning: The property will be cleaned and inspected after your departure. You are responsible for maintaining the unit in good condition and returning it in the same condition as received. Additional cleaning fees may apply if the property is not left in a satisfactory condition.
- Damages: You are responsible for any intentional damage, excessive wear and tear, additional cleaning charges, or fines incurred due to noise, excessive trash, parking violations, or unintended damage over $100.
- Homeowners Association: Please adhere to the rules and regulations of the Homeowners Association while using the premises.
Payment and Cancellations
- Payment: We accept all major credit cards. A deposit of 50% of the total reservation is due upon booking for reservations made more than 30 days in advance, with full payment due 30 days prior to check-in. For reservations made within 30 days of check-in, payment in full is due at the time of booking.
- Cancellations: Reservations canceled between 31 and 60 days prior to check-in will receive 100% of the deposit, minus a 10% administrative fee. Reservations canceled within 30 days of check-in will receive 50% of the total reservation amount. All canceled reservations made within 7 days of check-in are non-refundable.
- Travel Insurance: Travel insurance is highly recommended for all stays.
Additional Terms
- Security Cameras: The property premises are equipped with exterior cameras for security reasons. Cameras are typically turned off upon guest check-in, and there are no security cameras or hidden cameras indoors.
- Phone and Internet: The property is equipped with a high-speed Wi-Fi connection. A landline is not provided. Cellphone service is not always guaranteed.
- Water and Septic: Do not flush anything other than toilet paper in toilets. You may be charged for damages if misuse results in clogging the sewer system.
- Safety: You are solely responsible for your own safety as well as that of your guests and any children. The property is not childproof.
- Lost or Missing Items: You are responsible for all shipping costs for any lost and found items that the owner is requested to return to you. Items found and not claimed within 30 days will be disposed of at the owner’s discretion.
- Weather and Other Unforeseen Events: The owner does not accept liability for any inconveniences arising from temporary defects or stoppages in the supply of water, gas, electricity, plumbing, satellite/cable, Wi-Fi, damage caused by weather/road conditions, natural disasters, pandemics, acts of God, or other reasons beyond its control. Refunds could be given for any delays or cancellations due to such conditions under the owner’s discretion.
- Travel Insurance: We highly recommend obtaining travel insurance for your trip to cover emergencies such as sickness, accidents, death of a loved one, severe weather events, hurricane warnings, impact or aftermath, and mandatory evacuations.
- Furnished Rental and Supplies: The property is a fully furnished property that includes bedspreads, linens, blankets, pillows, towels, a fully equipped kitchen, TVs, and furnishings. A limited starter supply of paper products, bath, and dish soap are provided but will not be replaced if consumed during your stay.
- Pest Control: The property is serviced for pests by a licensed professional exterminator on a regular basis. No other arrangements, property substitutions, rate adjustments, or refunds will be issued for pest-related problems.
- Early Departure: No refund will be due if you decide to vacate the property before the end of the rental period.
Payment Terms and Conditions
- Adding a Payment Method: When you add a payment method, you will be asked to provide billing information. You authorize Boltus Rentals and its payment service providers to collect and store your payment method information.
- Payment Method Verification: Boltus Rentals may verify the payment method by authorizing your payment method for one or two nominal amounts or requiring you to upload a billing statement.
- Payment Authorization: You allow Boltus Rentals to charge your payment method for all fees due, including any applicable taxes and damage claim amounts.
- Automatic Update of Payment Method: If your payment method’s account information changes, we may acquire that information from our financial services partners or your bank and automatically update your payment method on file.
- Timing of Payment: Boltus Rentals generally charges the total price due after we accept your booking request.
- Currency: The currencies available to make payments may be limited for regulatory or operational reasons. Any such limitations will be communicated via the Boltus platform.
- Booking Request Status: If Boltus cancels the booking, any amounts collected and due to you pursuant to the cancellation policy will be refunded to you.
- Payment Restrictions: Boltus Rentals reserves the right to decline or limit payments that may violate risk management policies or procedures, these payment terms, or expose you, Boltus Rentals, or others to risks unacceptable to Boltus Rentals.
- Your Payment Method, Your Responsibility: Boltus Rentals is not responsible for any loss suffered by you as a result of incorrect payment method information provided by you.
- Payment Issues: If Boltus Rentals is unable to collect your payment, you will be notified of such declined payment and required to complete the payment using an alternative payment method within 72 hours of the notice. If you fail to complete the payment, you authorize Boltus Rentals to cancel the booking on your behalf.
- Recurring Payments: For certain bookings, Boltus Rentals may require a guest to make recurring, incremental payments toward the total price owed. More information on recurring payments will be made available via the Boltus platform if applicable to a booking.
By completing the formular and making a payment for your reservation, you agree that you have reviewed and agreed to the terms above. Execution of a digital signature shall be deemed a valid, legal signature.
